Asande Dubazana, who replaced Sihle in the cast, is a paramedic who works alongside Thembinator Bafana Cele. He is a lively young man who likes to bring out his comedic side, just like the previous paramedics before him. Phumeza, his wife, is now the Matron, he has been making fun of Thulani, who he claims had been degraded to a woman. Bafana’s taunts are not taken lightly by Thulani, who tells him to mind his own business and offers explanations for his wife’s actions.
