The actors and content content cretors Millicent Mashile and Innocent Sadiki are heartbroken after losing their grandmother who raised them after their mother passed away.
Mashile tells Zimoja that she remebers the day she was in labour with baby Kganya: “This was after a complicated delivery with Kganya. I was in so much pain. I just wanted to talk to my Gogo, however, I didn’t want her to know I’m in pain.”
She also tells the publication that she’s going to miss having a mom and a grandma in her and can’t believe she can’t call her now as she would have made the pain a little better.
“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord. We were blessed to have been given one of the best.”
“God knew she would be exactly what we needed. My heart is filled with gratitude to God for your life, your heart, your love Gogo.”
The Generations star adds that she’s happy her grandmother is no longer in pain. It’s been a tough couple of months, for their queen.

‘SKEEM SAAM’ ACTRESS INNOCENT SADIKI: ‘THE WORST NIGHTMARE’
Skeem Saam actress Innocent Sadiki took to her Instagram account to express her grief in pictures and videos to bid farewell to her grandmother.
“Farewell my Queen, my best friend, my love, my Gigi, my everything, my heart, my strength. The day I dreaded all my life. The worst nightmare.”
“That day has come and for the first time, I felt my heart jumping out of my chest. I can’t believe you going to finally meet your daughter and my mother again. Your precious baby girl. Have fun girls.”
Sadiki previously revealed on their YouTube channel that she struggled to remember her past as a result of the emotional trauma her parents’ deaths caused.
“It’s the memory loss for me as well. I didn’t realise that until I was married, until I had children. I know my mom from a picture; I don’t know her as a person. I have zero memories of my mom.”
Sadiki also revealed in a 2017 interview with TshisaLIVE that their grandmother raised them, and their sister kept information about their father to herself to protect them.
The actress added that she and her sister were met by “coldness” when they tried to reach out to their father and never saw him again until he was on his death bed after an “attempted murder”.
