Generations – Love troubled Sphe believes Winston is the real deal but is he?

Navigating a new relationship is often very difficult for any single parent, especially for divorcees.

Sphe (Pearl Monama) is no different as a woman who married into a prominent family. But not all is lost – she’s found a man she shares a lot in common with and for the first time in a while, she finally believes in love again.

Sphe thought she found love with Luyolo (Karabo Maseko) but was devastated when he betrayed her by sharing confidential info about her uncle Nkosiyabo (Muzi Mthabela) with Kabisi (Mpho J Molepo) and #Ezweni journalist Pamela (Zola Nombona), which gave Kabisi the upper hand in the boardroom.

But when she sets eyes on Winston (Lehasa Moloi), she feels butterflies all over again.

He seems fun and flirty and she needs that in her life right now. She loves that fact that he is charming and the ultimate gentlemen. She doesn’t know what he does or why he’s in town, but that doesn’t matter.

He’s easy on the eyes. But like everything in life, nothing comes without its challenges. Sphe’s ex-hubby Mazwi (Musa Ngema) is no longer romantically involved with her, but he has the right to know who has access to his daughter.

Mazwi is very protective and he doesn’t have a good feeling about Winston.

The children are the priority for both parents, often meaning co-parenting. Sphe and Mazwi have a good system of co-parenting even with the other challenges that life throws at them for being members of the Moroka dynasty, including their uncles being at war in the boardroom.

They are actually really good at it. They both love and are doing their best to ensure that their daughter grows up loved despite the business politics between the Morokas and the Celes. But will Mazwi abuse this right?
