Generations Jack Mabaso found a new acting home
We were heartbroken as a country when we learned that Vusi Kunene would no longer be a member of the SABC1 Generations The Legacy. He was one of the most prominent players in Generations, and most people follow the soapie to see their Vusi Kunene.
Vusi Kunene has left his role as Jack Mabaso on Generations. We were shocked to learn of his departure from the soap because we had known him for quite some time. Kunene was a member of Generations from 2002 to 2009. In 2010, he joined Bomb Productions Isibaya, which terminated two months ago, and returned to Generations with the new casts, after the show fired their 16 performers who were demanding a pay hike.
Mr Mfundi Vundla, the Drama’s manager, failed to do so, preferring instead to fire everyone and hire new people. Kunene also worked for the SABC 3 Isidingo station.
The good news is that our Vusi Kunene’s story is far from ended; Kunene will star in The House of Zwide, a new soap that will replace Etv Rhythm City. This thrilling news of the star’s return to our screens is accompanied by the announcement that Baby Cele will also be a member of The House Of Zwide.
