Gogo Olpha Nkosingiphile Selepe popular known as Gee Six Five, an academic who turned to an amapiano mega star a few moments before her death is finally laid to rest today.

“My beloved aunt, MumNcane who many of you know as Gee Six Five, is no more. She displayed leadership throughout her life, was the epitome of fearlessness and inspired many with her single Obani Labantu. Mthiya, Shandu kaNdaba, Sontshikazi. RIP Gee Six Five,” she wrote in a short statement on social Twitter

It’s sad that she didn’t got the chance to fully enjoy her retirement money, however she achieved her dream before going to heaven and afforded a luxury coffin. She got famous in November after she dropped her hit single Obani Lababantu and topped iTunes music charts and attracted the likes of Somizi Mhlongo. Her debut TV performance was in Mzansi Insider, Gee Six Five was accompanied by her dancers, she gave a killer performance before succumbing to Covid19.
