GCINA Nkosi who made a name for herself in the drama Scandal! and experienced actor Siyabonga Twala will be seen playing a key role in the retreat with the third season of the Hostel.

 

The show , which will be screened at Mzansi Magic from next month, is one of the biggest ever on Mzansi Magic, coming back with a new face and telling a different story.

Thirteen episodes of the Hostel this season will feature KaMabizela (Gcina Nkosi), a widow who seeks revenge on Ngwadi (Siyabonga Thwala) who also played on Scandal as Vusi Thwala.

Mdletshe and Ngwadi, who lived in a hostel called KwaDukuza, were involved in crime, but things changed and they turned around when Mdletshe decided to stop crime at the hostel and where Ngwadi decided to get rid of him. Other actors who will appear in the play include Xoli Zondi, Nkanyiso Mchunu, Tony Kgoroge and Mduduzi Nombela.

The drama that feature The Herd, Ayeye MNet have said they chose to bring back because it did well, they want to change everything that once seemed old.

They said this was one of the ways to keep viewers enjoying their drama and to come up with ideas to keep it entertained.

M-Net’s Shirley Adonisi explained that the first episode they played was in the third season of the Unmarried game on 1 Magic now.

“We want each season or title to change but the attraction has come up with another story that will keep viewers enjoying the game. This type of startup is now made in different countries and is very popular and we think it is good to start.

“We have planned for each season to feature celebrities, change the title of the game you have been talking about to a new one but the important thing is that you will be transferred to the same venue as last season,” he explained.

He said the game Hostel would continue to be filmed in KwaZulu-Natal as it was their third season in Bergville and it featured actors including Siyabonga and Gcina.

He said as a channel they take pride in not only doing what is done in other countries but also ensuring that the stories they tell are in line with what their viewers want.
