If you didn’t know well now you know that award winning actress Gabrielle Union and rapper Saweetie are cousins.

In the course of her career it was not public knowledge that she and Gabrielle were related.

Saweetie mentioned that although she was related to the reknowned actress, she didn’t want her help getting into the industry. Something that many people found to be commendable considering, how others with famous family relatives would probably brag about.

Further going on to say that she has so much pride and wanted to try and figure out things on her own.
