NEW characters are expected in the House of Zwide drama which will run for the rest of the year.

The soap is shown on e.tv at 7pm on weekdays. It has started in July last year to replace Rhythm City it had been playing for the station for years.

According to March figures published in the Broadcast Research Council of South Africa, House of Zwide is doing well as it is the second most watched soap on the channel. It has 4 363 470 viewers and above it is Scandal! viewed by 4 898 507.

With the discovery of this newspaper, new actors will appear and some have already started recording.

Among them is Bonga Dlamini who starred in the role of Mkhonto in uZalo on SABC 1.

Contacted he did not agree and did not deny but said he was asking for the channel to be contacted.

Bonga, who returned to Zalo a few months ago but disappeared again, is said to be playing the role of Tire.
