Former Ukhozi FM presenter who recently got fired, Sbu Buthelezi showed no sign of regret during an interview on a television show called #Checkpoint when many of the victims whom he scammed through his business #Abombusoinvestment were revealed.

 

 

Sbu kept refusing to answer some of the questions directed to him and also denied that he is guilty of scamming people even after seeing evidence.

This business was advertised by Sbu himself on Ukhozi FM. Customers had to buy alive chickens and give it to Abombuso company and they would sell the chickens for you and also promise you 100% profit for any amount you put in. This is how this business worked.

This is what one of the victims said :

‘My first time hearing about this company was on Ukhozi FM, we as listeners believe everything we hear on this station is true. I also thought Sbu is a true God believer and trusted him alot. When i got fired at SAA i decided to take some of the money i received(R200 000) and bought chickens, i even spoke to Sbu directly on the phone. Him and his female assistant promised me 100% profit.’

‘After investing my money i waited for the profit but i was sent there and there, even when i called Sbu he kept promising to pay me still i haven’t received my money until now. I have a contract that i signed with them as evidence. I also have emails and messages. The most paiinful thing is that i’m struggling as I’m currently unemployed. We are really fed up,this person is a liar we don’t need any of his explanations anymore. The only thing we want is our monies.’

Sbu gave an unclear response as to why is he not paying people their money and why he keep promising to pay all the people that invested in his company.
