Former Ukhozi FM presenter allegedly joins Community radio

Another former SABC radio presenter makes a return on radio to join a community radio.

It will be remembered that earlier on this week, former Metro FM presenter, Unathi Nkayi was reported that she will start working for a community radio, Star FM, which is based in Johannesburg. Nkayi also confirmed the news and revealed that she will be hosting a drive show.

It will be remembered that last year she was shown the door by Kaya 95,9 FM for false allegations of abuse against her co- worker, Sizwe Dhlomo.

Now, it looks like another former SABC presenter would be walking right in her footsteps to join the community radio.

There are rumours that after seven years without being an air, former Ukhozi FM presenter, Linda Sibiya, finally returns on radio.

On social media, it is trending that Mr Magic would be joining a Newcastle Community radio which is called Imvula 98.5 FM.

After Linda left Ukhozi in 2014, he did not do any radio show up until Vuma FM hired him to host a breakfast show.

His reasons of leaving Vuma FM still remains not known.

However, the founder of Imvula FM, Dr. Mngcwabuyahlehla Dlamini, confirmed the news that Sbiya is joining his stations. He stated that the reason of approaching him is the fact he has many fans and lot of experience in this industry.

Strange enough, when contacted for confirmation, Sbiya denied that he has joined Imvula FM. He simply said Dlamini is lying and he is not even in Kwa Zulu Natal, he is in Johannesburg. Linda revealed that Dlamini had asked him train his presenters and he did not specify how Linda should train them. The only thing Dlamini said was that he wants Magic Broadcasting Academy to assist him like it does with other stations.
