Shoki Mmola is a well known South African actress, famous for her acting role of Celia Kunutu, the mother and stepmother of Rachel Kunutu and Nimrod Kunutu, in the SABC 1 soap opera Skeem Saam and for playing Grace Lerothodi in the SABC 1 mini series Death of a Queen. She is also a casting director and a fashion designer.

 

 

 

She is a colourful South African performer with an impressive education and a vast portfolio of work in theatre as well.

The popular actress left Skeem Saam back in 2021 after 20 years on the show. And the SABC has since confirmed her exit in a statement.

She plays a role of Prudence Molepo, a woman of the cloth who has given her life to the faith. She holds herself in high regard and expects others to do the same for themselves. But she stands on moral high ground to mask her own flaws.
