Mbalenhle Mavimbela is a South African actress, best known for playing the of Hlomu, The Wife on Africa’s most loved Telenovela The Wife on Showmax.

 

She landed her first acting role in 2019, of Thandazile on etv’s Isipho. In 2020, Mbali starred on a number of local tv shows including etv’s Durban Gen, Uzalo, Karektas and Isibaya.

Mavimbela went and played the role of Nothile on Sabc1’s popular soapie Skeem Saam. On that same year she landed her biggest role yet, the lead role of Hlomu of Showmax’s Telenovela The wife, she has played this role for almost two years now.

In the short space of time that she has been in the entertainment industry, Mbali is definitely making her mark, she is the new kid on the block.
