Saturday, August 13, 2022 was a landmark milestone for South Africa’s modelling business.

It resulted in the crowning of Tzaneen’s Ndavi Nokeri as the most beautiful woman in the country.

While South Africans were celebrating Nokeri’s achievement, Zimbabweans were in tears as they reflected about their previous winner.

According to Zimbabwean media, former Miss Zimbabwe Phoebe Monjane lives a miserable existence on the streets of Johannesburg.

In 2003, she was crowned Miss Zimbabwe, and she has reportedly become a pale shell of herself.

According to reports, she is so destitute that she cannot afford to pay rent and lives on the streets with the Nyaope Boys. She has reportedly become a drug addict as well.

South Africa is home to millions of Zimbabweans, but no one has stepped up to help the country’s former beauty queen.

After falling in love with a drug-addicted man, she moved to South Africa, where her downhill spiral began.

Chipo Chopera, a close friend of hers, expressed concern for her close friend.

Chipo stated that she was extremely concerned for her friend’s health due to the fact that she sleeps anyplace.

She fears that her buddy could be stabbed and die on the streets, and that it would be difficult to bring her home.

She stated, “On the streets of Johannesburg, people are hesitant to approach her.”

Chipo stated that it is necessary to assist a fellow Zimbabwean who previously represented the nation at international tournaments.

“I am reaching out to all of my friends in the modelling industry to support a sister who has lost contact and is now living on the streets and abusing drugs.

Chipo claims that Phoebe moved to South Africa in 2006, where she lived with a wealthy white partner.

Apparently, her partner was a drug user as well. There, she also became sexually involved.

After their breakup, Phoebe was unable to afford her drug habit.
