Former Generations: TheLegacy Actor Tumelo Matlala Ties The Knot

Love has won and we are here for it. Despite any obstacles but love will always find a way. What is meant to happen will definitely see its way through and it will happen.

The pandemic of Covid 19 and the Lockdown has affected lot of things and changed a lot as well. We have seen some plans getting cancelled while others get postponed.

Many weddings which had to take place early last year had to be halted as the country was under a hard lockdown. We are happy for those who have made it against all odds and reached to the moment of saying “I DO” despite being engulfed by such pandemic and lockdown.

Mzansi Celebrity News © has learnt that the former Generations: The Legacy’s actor, Tumelo Matlala just had a traditional wedding ceremony with his wife of six years.

Tumelo is very happy that his wife, Ziphelele Beku was finally introduced to his family last month on the 25th of September.

The welcoming ceremony took place in Duduza, Nigel, Gauteng.

The former Generations: The Legacy actor and musician told a local publication, Daily Sun that it was an exciting day.

“Everything was amazing – from the decor to attire. We chose to stick to colours that reflect Pedi tradition, which are blue, yellow and white.”

The couple, who have been together for six years, had their first marriage ceremony in Qonce, Eastern Cape, in December 2019.

Tumelo said Covid-19 then delayed the welcoming ceremony.

“We had planned to do the ceremony earlier in 2021 but unfortunately, my wife’s mother died in January. We had to give our families enough time to mourn,” he said.

“We enjoyed the ceremony and everyone was happy, with unity dominating the event.

“We’re working to enjoy our marriage as we go forward. Marriage is a good thing, and there is God’s favour in it.”

Tumelo had a message for those who were not married. “If you have found the one who loves you, don’t waste time. Do the right thing.”

Ziphelele said the day was filled with warmth and excitement.

We are happy that they have managed to have their desired traditional wedding and for Ziphelele to step in the yard of the Matlala’s.
