Former Generations Actress Sonia Mbele Speaks Out About Leaving The Show To Save Her Marriage

Many of us remember watching Sonia Mbele on our screens playing Ntombi Dhlomo. Sonia won our heart with this character as she played the character of Ntombi on the popular soapie. Sonia was on Kaya FM speaking with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka on 959 breakfast show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sonia Mbele spoke up about being married when she was still on Generations, and said that she comprised herself in every way. She said, β€œYou know when something is not working, and you still want to make it work in any way. I remember being on the biggest show in the country and not being able to watch it because it made people around me uncomfortable. It became deeper.”

She spoke about how she became jobless after leaving the show because her job made someone in her life uncomfortable. She continued to say that the unfair payment and treatment were other reasons for her to leave Generations. Furthermore, she added, β€œIt was a couple of factors. For me, it became a question of letting me leave anyway because I could see what happened with the exodus. I sensed it.”

Sonia has now started to act again and has appeared on DiepCity, and is no longer married. She said that she wants to be one of the biggest producers in the country.
