Filthy rich Real Housewives of Cape Town star lives the extravagant lifestyle off screen

It’s been a few months since Rushda Moosajee was part of the cast of the Real Housewives of Cape Town.

The entrepreneur says life post-filming has been a pleasant surprise.

“People have been more than lovely. Even though set life and filming are gruelling, one can get addicted to the adrenaline of it all,” Rushda (36) says.

Rushda and her husband, property developer Isma-él Ebrahim, are parents to four sons, Haydar (6), Malik (3), Ramzi (1) and Nuh (five months).

Rushda is also the founder and CEO of health and fitness business RushTush.

Her secret to balancing her personal and professional life is outsourcing where she can and being able to let go.

“Life is about your full story, not the last page. A big part of brand building is having a vision and a golden thread throughout everything.”

Her advice to mothers who are juggling work and family life is to remember that personal financial freedom is vital..

“Even if you find yourself in a union, don’t underestimate the power dynamics if a woman lives at the mercy of another party,” Rushda says.

“A woman shouldn’t pass up on her independence just because it will alleviate the pressure of doing it all. You are a woman before you are a mom.”
