Even after their death, the late veteran actors Charles Maja and Candy Moloi are thriving as their Sepedi film won an international award.

The film titled Bogoshi Bjaka scooped two international awards at the Crown Wood International Film Festival in Kolkata, India. It took home the awards for best feature film and best woman filmmaker. It also features Sipho Eric Ndlovu, David Mello and Innocent Sadiki.
It is about brothers who come from a royal family who are battling it out to rule and become a chief.
The award also got nominated in August for best film at the Hollywood International Golden Film Awards in Los Angeles
“We are delighted that the film won an award for producer Lizzy Moloto in National Women’s Month. We are proud to share and celebrate the film’s success with South Africans, and we congratulate the cast and crew for making the country proud,” said director Percy Maboane.
The actors’ lost their lives earlier this year. Charles Maja portrayed the charter of Big Boy Mabitsela, on SABC 1’s popular sudser, Skeem Saam. He suffered form a stroke.
Candy Moloi died after a long battle with cancer at the age of 67. She was famously known as Vho Makhadzi on Muvhango.
