Refilwe Boingotlo Moeketsi, known professionally as Fifi Cooper is a South African recording artist. Fifi Cooper started her music career as an R&B singer. After winning a big award at the Metro FM, She received a musical artist prize of R300 000. Fifi Cooper did not spend it on herself, even though it was her ‘biggest paycheck’ since breaking into the music industry.
She revealed that “the prize money went toward building her mother a house in the North West” she said. She had stepped in to complete the house that her brother had begun building before he had to face his own family.
“I’m building my Mom a house. It’s actually done” Fifi Cooper said.
Fifi Cooper has expressed how nothing is of more importance to her than doing something special for her mother. She said “It has always been my dream to do something good for my mother, so I had to step in to assist my brother put a roof over our mother’s head for the rest of her life”.
The house was started by her brother, but the process was moving slowly as he got married. He had to focus on his own family, but Fifi complete the process of the house after winning the big award.
