Media personality and self proclaimed queen of slay slay queens Khanyi Mbau came into the limelight about 15 years ago when she was still very young.

At the time she had just gotten married to her now ex husband Mandla Mthembu who bought her a Lamborghini. Things looked great for her back then.

This was despite the gossip columns calling her a gold digger because she was married to a man twice her age. At that time Mandla Mthembu was still a millionaire.

On the outside it looked like they had a great marriage as Mandla was not the one to hold her back from her career and being the highest paid socialite in South Africa at the time.

During the cause of her marriage she fell pregnant with her daughter and on her reality show she expressed that she had a difficult pregnancy.

She said that its because of that fact that she was not even thinking of having another child. She said that Khanz was enough for her alone.

She has been raising her daughter on her own as a single mother since her divorce. Not only that but for a long time she has kept her daughter out of the public eyes.
