In a distressing turn of events, Andani Bugana, a 22-year-old South African teacher, finds herself grappling with a sudden mental breakdown in South Korea, just four months after starting her teaching job in the country. Andani Bugana set off for South Korea in March with aspirations of securing a teaching position and supporting herself in a foreign land. However, fate had other plans in store. Recent reports reveal that she experienced an unexpected and severe mental breakdown, rendering her in a vulnerable and unstable state. Despite medical examinations, the exact cause of her breakdown remains a perplexing mystery, as all results have come back normal, and there is no history of mental health issues in her family.

At present, Andani is under treatment at Sam-Jeong Hospital in Incheon, South Korea. However, the situation has become more dire due to her health insurance not covering the expenses of her hospitalization. Consequently, all medical bills are mounting, and as Andani is in a fragile state, she requires a companion to accompany her back home to South Africa. This has left her family desperately seeking assistance.

In a heartfelt plea on social media, Andani’s family is reaching out to anyone who can contribute towards her medical expenses and the cost of her return flight home.
