Scandal is a South African soapie airing on Etv that touches on a lot of aspects happening in South Africa. They show started on the 08th of September in 2005 and it’s still running.

In the soapie, Romeo who is being played Hungani Ndlovu was found by this other old man when everyone thought he was dead. A little backstory, many people love the character Romeo because before he got ‘lost’ he was trying to help his mom see that the guy she wants to marry is just trying to scam her and is indeed his half brother but the mother didn’t believe him. To the point where he wasn’t invited to his own mothers wedding. However, he gate crushed the event and said some emotional stuff that left many in tears before fleeing from the wedding and leaving the town. Boniswa faked his death and everyone believed it. They did a burial service for him with the wrong body and we were all sad. Luckily by the end of that episode we were shown the real Romeo waking up and being found by a man who helped him and took care of him. We all had hope that Romeo will be coming back.
 

Now, in yesterday’s episode Romeo ended up dying at the hospital and the nurses found out he has a wife and it’s about to be a real mess. Fans are really not happy with him being dead while they gave us hope that he will be coming back.

On Twitter, fans are expressing how they really feel about Romeo’s death. A tweep said “We were in a process of accepting Romeo’s passing but you gave us hopes of him coming back then you came back and crush them again, ey #etvScandal you guys are evil I’m not OKAY.”

Another tweep said “#etvScandal Angikho right shem, they just killed Romeo character like that. ”

I feel like they shouldn’t have dragged his storyline and given us hope like that. Now it really hurts knowing that Romeo is really out if Scandal forever. However I’ll give them credit for playing it out this long, they really had us all thinking he’ll be back.
