End Of The Road For DURBAN GEN Soapie As Etv Cuts It Off Because Of This

Durban Gen is a South African television soap series currently aired of Etv from Monday to Friday at 18h30. It is filmed in Durban and the first episode was aired in 2020. It is one of the top watched television soap operas with over two millions of viewers in the country. Over the past two years the cast worked so hard to make sure that viewers were pleased because of the content that was being created. It has been said that it is one of the informative television soap operas in the country. It has just been reported that the cast will be airing its last episode next year in January .

Which means that it is only left with seven months of being on air. Some people seem to have been heartbroken by this as they thought that there are still many years of being entertained. Sadly the Etv has just decided to remove because they believe that it’s not generating good money as they thought. They say that cutting it off is one of the business strategies as they believe that the plans they have are the best for the future.

The Etv has wished all the actors of this cast all the best for their future plans. For the past two years they did nothing but worked hard to make sure that viewers are pleased. Viewerz seem to be dissapointed as just lady year the Etv removed Rhythm City after so many years. It was one of the top watched television soap operas in the country that served people good content. When it was removed people were really dissapointed.

Now it feels like the Etv is more focused on removing soap operas that tend to make viewers pleased. Hopefully this time they will bring another good and informative program as viewers are expecting. What is your take on this matter? Share your views on the comment section and follow for more news.
