Rappers Cassper Nyovest and Emtee’s beef started in 2021 when the two had a misunderstanding while trying to record a song. However, despite all the things Cassper Nyovest had to say about the other rapper Emtee did not respond. After months of keeping quiet, Emtee broke his silence and finally addressed their issues in a live Instagram stream.

How their beef started
Last year, Cassper was supposed to record a track with Emtee, but the latter did not show up to the studio, and it is said that he even switched off his phone. This did not sit well with Nyovest, who took to social media to blast the other rapper because of that misunderstanding. It has been almost a year since the incident happened, but both rappers’ fans have made the beef a thing and asked Emtee about it while he was live on Instagram.

Emtee answered a fan’s question about Cassper by only singing praises for the other rapper in an emotional video. He sent his fans to tell Cassper that he loves him and looks up to him so much. He even says Nyovest’s first album Tsholofelo inspired him to go out and become a rapper.

Emtee says that he had never had a problem with Cassper but was angry when Nyovest said terrible things about him. To finish his message, Emtee says that he loves Cassper but knows Cassper won’t say the same about him. One fan recorded that part of the live Instagram recording and tagged Cassper Nyovest on Twitter.

Cassper Nyovest apologizes to Emtee on social media

Cassper responds to the video by saying that it is all love to Emtee and apologising for hurting him. He even says he apologized face-to-face to the other rapper and praised him for his talent. Cassper finishes by saying that he hopes they can sort out their differences and move on then he says he hopes to see Emtee soon.

 

 

 

Fans could not help but be touched by how the two rappers made up and applauded both for putting their beef aside for peace. Many have been saying they have been waiting for this moment when the two finally make up and bury the hatchet. Fans are already asking for a collab between the two and anticipate that it would be a banger if the two were to link up on another track.
