Dumi Mkokstad is an award singing singer. He has been singing since he was nine years old. He started singing in family gatherings such funerals and store opening. He sang with his brothers, sisters and father. He was discovered in one of their singings.

He got married to his long term girlfriend Dr Ziphozenkosi Mthembu. The couple knew each other since they were young. After many years they finally tired the knot last year. They are one of the inspiring couples in the industry.

Dumi posted their daughter celebrating her birthday and fact that she passed. “I didn’t post this my baby on her Birthday but NOW THAT SHE PASSED her current grade iv got to.
