Duduzane Zuma, the son of former President Jacob Zuma and his wife Shanice Stork’s marriage is on the rocks.

As per ZiMoja, Zuma and his wife have separated with Stork opting to move out of their matrimonial home after they failed to resolve their issues. She is reported;y back at her parents’ home.

Duduzane Zuma, who is Newland East ANC ward 11 branch chairperson in Durban, is neglecting his wife in pursuit of his political ambitions. He made his intentions to stand as a presidential candidate for the African National Congress (ANC) in next year’s elections.

Unfortunately for him, he was unable to amass the required votes from the branches before the ANC 55th Elective Conference. Ultimately, Cyril Ramaphosa contested against Dr Zweli Mkhize and came out victorious.

A source close told ZiMoja that Duduzane Zuma is so consumed by his political ambitions that he has neglected his wife. The source added that the straw that broke the camel’s back for Shanice Stork was when their home was turned into a meeting place for political meetings.

The source said:

There were always comrades in and out of their house; she could no longer take it. Stork could not stand the fact that their home was always full of strangers having meetings with Duduzane and talking politics. This annoyed her because she loves her space.

Shanice Stork moved out of their matrimonial home in March 2022. The source said she was tired of constantly fighting for Duduzane’s attention. The source said:

Things became worse before the November 2021 Local Government Elections. Duduzane cared about nothing but his political ambitions that he neglected his duties as a husband

At the time of publishing, Duduzane Zuma and Shanice Stork’s families have intervened. The families are trying to knock some sense into the couple before they finalise their divorce.
