Drama as Andile Mpisane’s baby mama, Sithelo Shozi and online store fight over a table

Popular Mzansi influencer and DJ, Sithelo Shozi has been given until Thursday to apologize to an online furniture store for calling them a “fraud” on social media.

However, it does not look like the social media sensation is bothered after she posted messages on Tuesday night emphasizing that she is standing by her words.

Shozi was served with a cease-and-desist letter through her email on Tuesday after she took to her Instagram page, which boasts over 1 million followers, to lambast furniture store, Nisa WLLCKX Interiors, for a delayed order. She alleged that she paid R17 800 for a marble table in August. She was then told that the table will take six to eight weeks to make. But after the order did not arrive on time, she asked for her refund and then took to her Instagram page to lambast the store.

In various posts, that were made on her page, Shozi warned her followers never to order on the platform, calling them a scam and a fraud.

“Please be warned! Don’t make the mistake of ever ordering any pieces from this fraudulent furniture operation,” Shozi captioned a picture of the table from the store. On Tuesday, the store served her a cease-and-desist letter demanding her to remove her post and apologize or face a lawsuit.

The letter read: “We are instructed by our client, as we hereby do, demand that you remove the post and henceforth refrain, cease, and desist from publishing defamatory statement about our business.”

The store also demanded that the media personality issue an explanatory statement and an apology to the owner.

However, Shozi once again took to her Instagram page and reposted a picture of the table from the store with a caption: “I am still saying even now, fraud.”

Attempts to reach the media personality were fruitless.
