On 29 August 2023, the Daily Sun reported a that Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is applying for bail following her arrest. She is scheduled to make an appearance at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Tuesday, the 29th of August, Magudumana aims to present a formal bail application.
