The family of the media personality confirmed on his social media that the former YFM presenter, DJ Nhlamulo ‘DJ Mulo’ Hlungwani passed away on Saturday, 16 December after losing his battle to cancer.

“He passed away peacefully at his home in Bryanston after his battle with cancer. We know that he has touched many lives and has brought endless joy to those around him. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all the love, support and prayers that have been coming our way.”

 

“We were truly blessed to have experienced a wonderful soul like his and will forever remember him,” said the family in a statement.

South African celebrities such as Sipho Ngwenya, Dr Musa Mthombeni, Ntando Duma took to Hlungwani’s social media to pay tribute to him.Actress Dineo Langa: “💔💔💔💔 You fought valiantly Mulo.
