Dr Malinga has taken it to social media this morning to share that he has paid SARS R100 000 today. This comes after everyone across South Africa donated money for him to be able to pay his debt. This is great because people would have asked a lot of questions if he did not update them about the process, he is doing great. He did the right thing by paying SARS as soon as he got the money because he would have spent it on other things, and forget about his debt.

Many people on social media have commented on his post, they say he must pay bit by bit and eventually he will finish paying what he owes to SARS. Dr Malinga was not paying his taxes, and there are many people who do not pay their taxes especially South African celebrities. His life has not been the same since SARS took his property to auction, South africans have been feeling sorry for him. Dr Malinga made a lot of money when he was still receiving bookings, and interviews but never paid his taxes.

The R100 000 was raised in a very short period of time, I think if he works hard again and people donate more money for him he will make another R100 000. This means that the money he owes to the state it is a lot, because the way he was crying on MacG podcast it broke many people’s hearts. Dr Malinga needs to use some of the money to take care of his family as they look up to him. South Africans should be appreciated for what they did for him, it is really heartwarming and beautiful to witness.
