South African TV and radio personality Anele Mdoda found herself at the top of local trends list after revealing how she blew her festive budget in one day. According to the 94.7 Breakfast Club show host, she visited a nightclub and asked for any tequila. Taking advantage of the vague request, her waitress brought out a bottle of 1942 Don Perignon which Anele happily enjoyed — until the bill arrived.

 

 

After seeing that the tequila was R16k, she blasted the waitress and refused to tip — something which became a huge talking point among X users.

This week was no different after she decided to share how she blew her festive budget on a bottle of tequilaAccording to the 39-year-old mom of one, she met up with her friends at the club and asked for two bottles of champagne and a bottle of tequila.

When asked if she was okay with a bottle of 1942, she responded, “I don’t want problems, just solutions.”

Taking advantage of the star’s lack of specifics, the waitress brought out the expensive alcohol which Anele and her crew thoroughly enjoyed.

She quickly sobered up, however, after learning that the bottle set her back a whopping R16k — her entire Cape Town holiday budget.
