Don Design who is allegedly suspected of ordering a hit on AKA, finally speaks out.

Don Design will speak at the memorial service for Kiernan, AKA Forbes, 35, on February 17, 2023, in Sandton, South Africa, at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Don Design, whose real name is Tshediso Mokoko, paid tribute to his longtime friend and famous rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, who passed away over the weekend and was laid to rest on Saturday.

The rapper and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, who was his longtime friend and former manager, were both shot and killed in Durban earlier this month.

Don Design paid tribute to the rapper after rumors spread on social media that he had something to do with the rapper’s death.

Don Design wrote in the captions of photos and a video of him and AKA over the years, “My heart is broken, and the last few days have been nothing but surreal.” “It’s hard for me to write this because I want to tell you how much you mean to me.” “I never would have thought I’d be putting together a message like this.”

He said he couldn’t stop thinking about and reliving the times they spent together, and he wished he had one last chance to thank the singer of “Fela in Versace” for teaching him “the true meaning of brotherhood.”

“I owe you a lot for believing in me, for believing in my dreams and goals, especially when I didn’t believe in myself,” Don Design went on.

“I am amazed by everything you have done in your life. Your work ethic was the best I’ve ever seen. You did what you thought was right and were honest about it. I’ll do my best to stay on the path you’ve laid out for us.

Don Design asked God to heal the hearts and souls of AKA’s family and told them, “Let prayer be your ray of hope.” Prayer has the power to change pain and make you feel better, so you can get through this hard time. I love you.

“Kiernan, you left this world without me, but I believe we will meet again and be together again someday,” he wrote.

Rudolph Baloyi, a lawyer for the Forbes family, told Newzroom Afrika that the family was not interested in the claims made on social media that Don Design was involved in the murder of the rapper. This was in response to rumors on social media that Don Design had killed the rapper.

Lynn, AKA’s mother, said at his memorial service that it didn’t matter what people said about her on social media because she loved her “many sons,” including Don Design, and her three daughters, Nadia Nakai, DJ Zinhle, and Britany, who is the girlfriend of AKA’s younger brother Steffan. Lynn also told Don Design that she loved him: “I love you, my son.”At AKA’s memorial service, people in the music business said, “Supa Mega was one in a million.”
