The next Monday My bro and I took put last money and drove down and unlike most offers before he was truly genuine, he just wanted to make music, didn’t care that I was a nobody in the industry, Treated me like I was worth something, saw a gift in me that I had stopped seeing. A Musical Genius, he literally hummed the Joy Joymelody in my ear to me and saw it before it was anything, I hate to sound dramatic but a lot of my career and general success as a human I owe to the kindness of guy, my brother, a truly spiritual artist.” Brenden Praise said, referring the message to Murdahbongz.

Musician Brenden Praise was helped by known as Murdahbongz in the music industry. Brenden Praise became popular when he released joy joy song which radio stations and Channel O played the most during the time It was released. Before Brenden Praise on Idols, there was Brenden Praise with a talent the world never knew of. Brenden Praise revealed Murdahbongz saw that talent in him and asked him to come to his studio when he had time. That’s when he worked on his joy joy single.

Again Brenden Praise Ledwaba became popular when he won runner up on Idols SA Season 9 where Miss Sukwene won the competition. This was 2013, but even after the position he filled on Idols SA Season 9, je was still struggling musically. The music industry didnt reach out to him. People from industry didn’t try to help him with his first single. Nothing went well till Dj Zinhle’s boyfriend saw him and ask him to come to his studio.

What Brenden Praise Ledwaba walked out of the competition with at the time was R10,000 worth of fashion vouchers from Truworths. Idols SA was just still trying to fit in and find its ground. It had little to no investors and sponsors at the time. So winners were not getting all the fancy things people have been getting since 2018 (I.e. cars, studio, different vouchers, etc.)

But till he met Murdahbongz, things have been going well. He managed to settle down. Make money through what he loves, music. Many people are happy he hasn’t forgotten where and who helped him make it to the top in the music industry.
