A lot of people are confirming that a dark cloud has fallen on the South African music and entertainment industry because of how we are often burying our musicians. It is very traumatising and scary of how they all lose their lives. They all die by car accidents, seizures and assassination.

 

 

 

On the 10th of February this year, as a country we lost one of our best hip hop artists to ever come out of South Africa, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes who was better known as AKA. His death has left fans, friends, colleagues and his family saddened, traumatised and inconsolable because of how brutally his life was taken. Kiernan Forbes was shot to death outside Wish restaurant at Florida Road in Durban.
As we were humbly and respectably mourning the death of Kiernan Forbes, it is sad that we all have woken up to the sad news of the passing away of one of our South African hip hop artist, Costa Tsobanoglou. He was famously known for his dances moves and his talent as a rapper. He died last night at Expo Centre, Nasrec in Johannesburg during his live performance on stage. The talented rapper fell on the floor the first time and his friend, Champuru Makhenzo, helped him get up on his feet to continue with the performance. When he fell down again for the second time, he collapsed and was confirmed death immediately.

Kiernan Forbes and Costa Tsobanoglou were best buddies whilst they were both still alive hence Costa Tsobanoglou brought his performances to a halt to mourn the death of Kiernan Forbes. Just when he was back on stage again to do what he did best, he passed on. Kiernan and Costa helped each other with their careers, personal matters and would go out together.
