DJ Zinhle has been accused of trying to do damage control after behaving ‘inappropriately’ with US singer Usher

South African musician DJ Zinhle — real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane — is still facing backlash over the photos and videos of herself with US singer Usher. Zinhle, along with close friend and fellow media personality Nomuzi Mabena, attended Usher’s Life is a Melody campaign in honour of the Usher Rémy Martin 1738: A Taste of Passion Experience partnership.

Social media users called the DJ out for getting too cosy with Usher and likened her to American star Keke Palmer who also went viral for “inappropriate” clip with Usher. It’s been a busy week for Colours hitmaker DJ Zinhle who was accused of having “fan girl behaviour” around Confessions singer Usher Raymond.

The pair were photographed and filmed together at the star’s event in Las Vegas this week.

Many compared the footage of Zinhle and Usher to Usher’s footage with actress Keke Palmer which also went viral for all of the wrong reasons last month.

Some even accused Zinhle of disrespecting her musician husband Robert Mohosana or Murdah Bongz with who she shares one-year-old daughter Asante.

Shortly after she started trending, the musician and reality TV star posted a snap of herself and Murdah on Instagram and wrote in the caption that she was “missing him already”.
