Zinhle also pursued an acting career. She made her film debut as a judge in Jika Majika, Idols South Africa, Turn It On and 1’s and 2′ (2021) and made guest appearances on the TV series eKasi: Our Stories (2011), Play Your Part (2012), Tropic Island (2012), The Close Up and Rhythm City

DJ Zinhle started her career around 2004 . Initially , she wanted to be a TV presenter and never had ambitions of becoming a DJ until her older brother’s passion for mixing vinyl rubbed against her and her love and passion for DJ grew . She got her first chance. as a regular DJ at a youth dance show called jika Majika , which was broadcast on SABC .

She worked with South African music icon Boom Shaka on the album I Put It In , for which other notable artists such as Dr . Including Malinga , Khanyi Mbau , Mphoza and many others . She led the Sisters with Soul concert with Amanda Black . She won two awards at the Mzansi Kwaito and the second House Music Awards , including ; The best house DJ and house performer . Zinhle also led a live concert at Zimfest 2019 , a Zimbabwean festival in the UK . Their hit single from 2019 “Umlilo ” won 5 .1 million streams in just three months and received 3 platinum certificates from the South African recording industry (RISA) and was also voted song of the year 2019 . DJ Zinhle was chosen to lead the Red Bull Music Experience first in Cape Town .

In 2021 she hosted the Sabc 1 talent show competition called 1’s and 2’s along with DJ Tira and DJ Speedsta. Towards the end of 2021, she unexpectedly announced her upcoming reality show , which was set to premiere on BET Africa .
