It has been confirmed that musician Mandla ‘Mampintsha‘ Maphumulo, who suffered a minor stroke last week, has passed away today.

There were numerous reports earlier on Saturday, 24th of December 2022 on social media that the Big Nuz member had died. The Citizen has received confirmation of this from Mampintsha’s close friend and fellow artist DJ Tira.

 
DJ Tira said: “This is the saddest day. We were so close and so happy recently, excited about the Big Nuz come back. Why now?”

Thi iis very sad news to South Africans abd Entertainment industry, more especially looking at the role which Mampintsha played. He had helped so many young and upcoming artists to find the ground and record.

D TTira and Mampintsha worked together for very long time and he was discovered by Dj Tira. Many South Africans had joined Dj Tira to send their condolences messages to Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s family.
