DJ Tira Accused Of Poisoning Nomcebo

Tira Accused Of Poisoning Nomcebo To Turn Against Master KG And Record Label

According to a tweep, Nomcebo was hanging around with wrong people such as DJ Tira. It describes DJ Tira as a self-centred and arrogant person who is obviously behind Nomcebo’s sudden change of heart towards her record label. DJ Tira is suspected to have influenced Nomcebo by telling her that the song was big because of her vocal. Her head grew big and eventually thought she can get what she wants. Black Coffee doesn’t sing but still makes more money than the vocalists.

Some social media users have posted that Nomcebo is being influenced badly in this regard. They say Nomcebo should be very careful not to mess up her career by listening to people who will later turn their backs on her.

Nomcebo and Master KG’s record label Open Mic Productions has released an official statement regarding the Jerusalema saga.

Open Mic responded to Nomcebo’s statement saying that it cannot confirm that during the creation of the song, Master KG and Nomcebo agreed to go 50/50 on Master KG’s earnings. Open Mic could not ignore Nomcebo’s statement as it continued making rounds on social media. Nomcebo did sign a drafted agreement last year which states that, they will both split equally regarding the benefits of the song.

Nomcebo is said to have looked at the contract and then proposed a higher percentage and ever since that, they have been going back and forth with negotiations. The last time Open Mice met with Nomcebo’s legal team was on 19 June. Before Nomcebo and Master KG could record the song, there was a misunderstanding between the two parties as Nomcebo was demanding 70% of the benefits before it could be recorded.

Open Mic said that this is the same agreement that stipulates what percentage of Master KG’s royalties is payable to Nomcebo as a featured artist. The label is continuing with the engagements and as soon as they have reached an agreement, both artists will be paid.
