The funeral details of the late Ayepyep hitmaker and businessman Oupa John Sefoka, stage name, DJ Sumbody, have been revealed by his family. The mayor of Pretoria’s family released a statement announcing the details of his burial.

 

DJ Sumbody’s memorial service is set to take place on Wednesday, 23 November at 10am.

In keeping with his traditional all white themed parties, the memorial service theme is all white.

He will be laid this coming weekend, on November 26, at the Ga-Masemola, Apel Four Ways Cross.

While the police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said the motive for the shooting is unknown, and that the police are appealing with anyone who has information to come forward and help the police to apprehend the suspects connected to the murder of the amapiano hitmaker.

DJ Sumbody died in the early hours of Sunday morning in Woodmead Drive and Woodland Drive in Sandton, Johannesburg. Reports indicated that he was shot and killed. The DJ was due to perform at the all white Veuve Clicquot picnic on Sunday.
