When interviewed on Engineer Your Life Podcast, Dj Sbu indicated that he’s aware of the derogatory posts that are circulating on social media with people making fun of his looks. “It comes from a place of love” – he said. He then continued to point out that some of the comments are just for clout and likes, “keyboard warriors” a popular term used on Twitter. Sbu has continued to remind people that he’s being himself and they should not be concerned about anything, he’s okay.

On the actual video he was motivating people to keep on moving even when it gets hard and invest in property. It quickly shifted from that, to people focusing on his looks. This goes to show that social media can be a very dark space because people are there only for the banter and take nothing serious. I’m glad that he finally got to set the record straight.
