In a short clip that plays for 1 minute and 44 seconds, DJ Hlo is seen mixing two songs that are from the genre, Amapiano.

The reaction to this clip shows so much hate for her. Some of the tweeps went on to say that she cannot mix properly while some stated that she is just trash.

OPINION

DJ Hlo is a young and upcoming artist, she has not been that much in the industry but through her brilliance, she managed to give South Africa a song of the year. That says something about her. She is smart and knows which channel to use to promote her music. She is proof that you do not need connections to make it. South African should learn something from her and hate her because she is still monetizing and who knows, she might give us another song of the year again.
