TV and radio personality, Dineo Ranaka has responded to the allegations she faced from a make up artist, Felicia Zwane.

Mzansi Celebrity News © has been reporting a story about Felicia who claimed that Dineo did not pay her the amount due to her service she performed for her company.

 

According to Felicia, Dineo hired her to promote her make-up brand last year and they agreed on an R500 hourly rate, but she was shocked to received R1000 only.

Dineo issued a statement and stated that Felicia tried to “extort” from her an amount that was way behind industry rates.

Dineo claimed that they battled to get an invoice out of her because she made an attempt to extort from them what was beyond industry rates for make up sampling at their pop-up stores. She claimed that they only received her email with official confirmation of her invoice as well as compensation fee for her transportation mode on the day Felicia went public with this.

She also alleged that they were investigating theft that allegedly occured at the same time Felicia worked with them as they lost items worth R3000.

Dineo claimed that she contacted Felicia on the DM but she tried to get cocky with her and she left it at the hands of her team.

However, Felicia labelled Dineo’s allegations of missing stock as “questionable”.

She said that she was only informed of the missing stock three weeks after the work was done and she demanded her payment.

Felicia asked how do they missed the stock and not call her for questioning and then conduct an investigation which shouldn’t have taken that long considering that there are surveillance cameras all over the mall. Ironically, when she enquiried about her payment, suddenly the stock went missing and it equals to the money owed to her

After she demanded her payment almost three weeks after, Dineo’s team told her to send an invoice of R1000, which was not what it was initially agreed upon.

She also questioned why Dineo didn’t investigate her rates before they finalised the agreement.

Felicia said that she feels very exploited and disappointed that a woman like Dineo would devalue another woman’s hustle and go an extra mile to make false claims.
