South African radio and television personality Dineo Ranaka is officially a Sangoma. The reality show tv star announced that she finally agreed to go on the journey of becoming a Sangoma, when she posted a picture of herself on social media with the caption ” On many occasions they asked. And i eventually said YES. Camagu. Thokoza thongo lami”

There had been rumours back in 2019 when Dineo appeared wearing Sangoma outfit ,which she did not directly deny but chose to she say”on a spiritual journey to find “purpose and alignment”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Well known Sangoma, Gogo Dineo Ndlazi shared on social media pictures of the celebration ceremony for Dineo Ranaka. The ceremony was to celebrate Dineo Ranaka coming home after finishing her initiation.

Dineo Ranaka has always had the voice and words of wisdom. She’s always sounded so powerful spiritually. Although with so many people and celebrities becoming Sangomas, some people may find it hard to believe that her ancestral calling is genuine.
