DiepCity cast wows Mzansi singing the cover song of Lean on me by Bill Withers on set

DiepCity’s cast and staff get along incredibly well, as we’ve seen time and time again. We’ve seen them compete in a number of dancing competitions together. They took part in the uMlando dancing challenge even after it became popular and broke the internet. Yesterday was no exception, as the entire cast sang a song together.

Everyone began singing for one main reason at first. Dawn Thandeka King’s character MaShange was growing a year older on the show. As a result, the team decided to sing a happy birthday song to MaShange. Dawn’s reaction was bewilderment, as she couldn’t believe her team’s antics.

It wasn’t enough to sing happy birthday songs. Music is a universal language, and once you’ve caught the singing bug, you’re stuck with it. They all agreed to sing more music as a group, including Dawn.

Count on Me

They all united their arms and began singing Bill Withers’ legendary ballad, Lean On Me. In some ways, the music they chose has unique importance for them, especially given their workplace. Lean On Me denotes that they always have each other’s backs and, as a result, they always work together to create magic.

Employee morale

They must get along really well as cast and crew members. We’ve all heard stories of actors feuding with producers. We occasionally hear stories of crew members not being fair to people in front of the camera. All of these elements reveal the potential for riveting storytelling, which should be prioritized.

Season 2 has begun.

Mzansi was skeptical of DiepCity when it first premiered on television. Initially, spectators were just trying to figure out what was going on. There were, of course, gripping crime stories and familiar township plots. DiepCity viewers are now engrossed in the show and watch every episode.

There are many reasons to rejoice.

If their chanting is questioned, they will respond that they are content. DiepCity has made it to season two, and the fan base continues to grow.
