For almost a year now, there have been speculations as to whether the festival-goer has turned into DJ Thuli Phongolo and whether the maker and DJ Maphorisa have seen anyone. It’s not hard to find a reason why dating tales don’t stop, from the recordings of the two, who seem comfortable and nervous, to the internet sensations, to their communication through online entertainment.

Thuli and Maphorisa’s new Twitter trade, which added fuel to the fire, has sparked tweets about the possibility of the two getting together. This happened after Maphorisa tweeted its notable awards after reaching a huge 124 million views on a streaming stage.

The winning DJ rejoiced. So Thuli reminded him that it was a title he was afraid to refer to his alleged lover. “Aowa bathong, ‘I’m a lover?’ Yona,” Thuli asked accordingly.

Maphorisa replied that although she did not confirm who she was with, she needed to be sure. “Aiiii Ke, I’m happy too,” replied Maphorisa Thuli. These two no doubt know how to talk to individuals. Whether they are just friends or a couple is still a question to be answered.
