Fans are eager to get their hands on the Uzalo actress!, Thuthuka Mthembu
THUTHUKA Mthembu, who plays the part of Nonkanyiso on the popular South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC1) soapie Uzalo, was surrounded by a group of fans in Cape Town on November 6th.

She went to Philippi on Sunday, November 6 to hear the Oliver Tambo Memorial Lecture that was hosted at Sinethemba High School and delivered by an aspirant for the position of secretary-general of the African National Congress (ANC), Fikile Mbalula.

When the actress was leaving the hall to drive to her car, she had a difficult time doing so because the crowd was yelling her name and wanting to take photos with her at the same time.

Others inquired as to the whereabouts of other characters in the tale, such as Njeza, Madongwe, and Lily.

Her security detail was required to quickly remove her from the area.

Fans yelled “Uphi uNjeza!” as others inquired about Madongwe and Lily.

Thuthuka explained to the people gathered inside the auditorium of the school that she had not come for the same reason as everyone else.

“Today, I am not going to introduce myself as Nonkanyiso but rather as Thuthuka Mthembu. “As you can see, Njeza, Lily, and Madongwe did not come with me,” she stated as the audience clapped enthusiastically.

Some of the others inquired about her boyfriend on the soap opera, Kwanda.

Nonkosi Mbili, 23, expressed how much she adores Nonkanyiso and how pleased she was to finally meet her in person.

“I’m so happy that Nonka came to our area, but I’m disappointed that I didn’t get the chance to take a picture with her because people were pushing to have selfies with her and she had to leave,” she said. “I’m so happy that Nonka came to our area, but I’m disappointed that I didn’t get the chance to take a picture with her.”

Thozama Maxanti, who is 45 years old, is another fan who has stated that she does not miss Uzalo and prefers Nonkanyiso’s character due to her behavior.

She is a young lady who follows the rules and is very disciplined, but when it comes to romantic relationships, she has a lot of bad luck. A horrible death befell the child whom she loved and who was beneficial to her. She is becoming involved with the wrong men, some of them are criminals.
