South African Twitter is singing praises and salutations to the Senior Council Advocate Dali Mpofu for volunteering to be the lead council in representing the arson suspect Zandile Mafe. The streets of Twitter are flooded with reactions and comments to this matter.

 

Modibe Modiba said “SC Adv Dali Mpofu continously shows us that you must always use your skill and profession to help those less fortunate. Sometimes it’s not about the money, but the principle. You’ll always be remembered as the People’s Advocate”

Wonderboy Peters tweeted “I put it to you that if Adv Barry Roux SC represented arson accused Mr Zandile Mafu, racist SA would be judging him on the basis of his brilliance & praise him. But since it is Adv Dali Mpofu SC, racist SA is attacking him &tarnishing his image & integrity as a lawyer. We see you”

Duchess Angela tweeted “This whole Zandile Mafe story is unsettling. A homeless man, with a cellphone . His ‘neighbors’ say he had ‘strange behavior’. Now Dali Mpofu is representing him pro bono!! I can predict that the terrorism changes will stick. The RETs underestimated our justice system again”
