Connie Ferguson, the Queen actress, has continued to speak out about the death of her late husband Shona Ferguson and how she is grieving her loss.
Connie lost her husband on June 30, 2021, due to COVID-19-related problems, and she hasn’t stopped celebrating his life since.
Connie recently uploaded a video from her carpet Sunday on her Instagram account, in which she opened up about how she is coping with the loss and expressed gratitude to everyone who has been sending her messages of support during this tough time.
“There are a lot of places in the bible where it is clear that grief is normal and we are allowed to grief. We are allowed to feel what we need to feel and cry but have hope and faith that joy comes in the morning and saying that does not mean that you will wake up in the morning and be happy. I’m finding that is a process I know that a lot of people are walking this journey with me and most of you on social media I see your messages and I hear about your comments and I feel your support. I give glory to God that I have many people walking this journey with me.”
The actress also shared bible scriptures that have helped her and her family cope during this difficult time.
“He wraps up the wounds of the brokenhearted and heals their pains and sorrows.” Psalm 147:3.
“The maidens will rejoice and dance, as will young men and the elderly. I will turn their sorrow into joy. Instead of sadness, I will bring them joy and comfort.” Jeremiah 31:13.
“You will weep, but your weeping will turn to joy.” Revelation 16:20.
