Seasoned actress Connie Ferguson has hinted her exit on her Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen.

This comes barely two months before the soapie closes down as previously reported that it ends in December.

Mzansi Magic confirmed the end of the show earlier this year. And right now it seems its already time for them to pack and say goodbye.

Lead character, producer and showrunner Connie Ferguson took to Instagram over the weekend to bid farewell to her character as Harriet Khoza on the show.

 

 

 

She also thanked her fellow cast members and crews who have been working with her on the show for all these years.

She wrote, “The Queen Cast and crew I love you. From the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!”

As The Queen ends viewers will not be left with nothing, in January a new soapie will come in to replace the show.

The soapie Qheberha The Empire will take over. The last episode of The Queen is expected to air on the 13th of January 2023.

Before its already on air, the Eastern Cape based show is rumored to be having financial problems.

These rumors have not been confirmed by neither mzansi magic or the management team of the drama.
