With an illustrious career spanning years, Connie Ferguson has fast become the star actress we all love to hate.
Her unmatched acting flair has seen her being one of the most sought-after actresses in South Africa.
She is best known for her on-screen character of Karabo on the SABC drama series Generations. Since then, she has won big and starred in several drama series.

However, despite her small-screen success, the bubbly actress has fast become a fully-fledged businesswoman and philanthropist in her own right.

She has several businesses under her watch. On the other hand, she has been giving back to the less privileged through the Ferguson Foundation.During Mandela Day, the award-winning star donated food parcels, clothes and other basic needs to the less privileged in Hamanskraal. However, of interest, she was doing this in partnership with Collen Mashawana Foundation and the People Matter Foundation.
Over the years, the foundations have been making headlines thanks to their outstanding funding and donations to the less privileged. The foundations were donating to Adam Masebe Secondary School in Hamanskraal. The donations were made during Nelson Mandela Day. Taking to Instagram, she posted: “We serve God by serving others. 🙏🏾 Yesterday was a day well spent with the community of Hamanskraal at Adam Masebe Secondary School.
We celebrated Nelson Mandela Day with the Collen Mashawana Foundation and the People Matter Foundation, where a borehole, food packs, blankets, books etc., were donated in honour of Madiba.
We were honoured to partake in such a meaningful event.🙏🏾.”
Against the backdrop of their donations South Africans were more than impressed with the work these two foundations have been doing in helping the less privileged.
