Botswana’s born-power couple Connie Ferguson and Shona are living the dream and we are feeling all sorts of inspired. The lovebirds have been married for almost two decades now and they are still going strong.

Although marriage has proven to be quite a challenge especially in the entertainment space, this couple has made us believe that love conquers everything.

Their genuine love is not just celebrated by themselves only but their legion of fans and those close to them often celebrate them. For several years we have watched the couple grow together in the spotlight and it has been a beautiful sight to see proving that they were indeed destined to be together.Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday 02 February 2021, Connie shared two stunning portraits of them by Oscar Dlamini. The portraits were delivered to them and they are hand-engraved portraits on a black tile. Connie shared a picture posing with the man behind the work and she was fascinated by his amazing work.

This is not the first portrait to steal Connie’s heart. Her personal trainer recently surprised her with a stunning portrait by DJ Khandi.

“DJ Kandi I have no words. This is just too beautiful! Thank you for my 50th gift! After Sinalono killed us in today’s #suicidesaturday, this just lifted my mood and my spirit so much I could have done another full session.! The artist doctor Khumalo, my brother you are talented! We thank God for your gift!  Today is a good day! Thank you both so much! Love you, Charmaine,” Connie expressed her gratitude.The actress also shared a video of her getting surprised with a painted jacket by Leroy Cana’da and she was blown away by it. The jacket had a portrait of Connie at the back, with her husband’s portraits.

This couple continues to set the flames of love burning and we are here for it. In 2020 they celebrated their 19th wedding and Connie’s sister penned an appreciation post to the power couple. Celebrating their anniversary they had a special luncheon and received many gifts. This year they will wrap 2 decades of having been married and we cannot wait to see this dream coming to light.
